## One worked example

Fictional exercise, not the only answer: 12 routine requests total 216 staff-minutes of active work and 504 request-minutes of queue time. Copying uses 36 staff-minutes; access review uses 72. Confirm that a shared view meets status users' needs and preserves review responsibility and records before proposing removal of copying.

Conditional scenario: removing all copying with zero added effort leaves 180 staff-minutes, averaging 15. Waiting changes and actual net savings are unknown. Eliminate copying and Combine data into one view describe one change; do not count the benefit twice. Earlier field checks and simpler notifications are separate options for later rounds.

Propose following the next 12 comparable requests through handoff, retaining explicit status for complex or incomplete requests. Record view setup and maintenance as effort. Pause and restore the original process if review is bypassed, access is incorrect, or a review record is missing. Owner, start date, approval, and post-change results remain unconfirmed.
